Delete your data

Effective 7 August 2026Last updated 22 October 2026

This page explains how to delete information held by Codekyt Software LLP (“Codekyt”, “we”, “us” or “our”) in connection with a mobile application published under the Codekyt Apps name (each an “App”), and what we keep after a deletion request.

It covers the Apps listed in Appendix A, including Masala Menu and LinkFold. Read it together with our Privacy Policy, which describes what we collect and why.

Questions or requests: [email protected], or the App’s own support address in Appendix A.

1. Delete the content you create — immediately, yourself

Everything you create in an App is stored in that App’s private storage on your device. We do not hold a server copy of it, so you do not need to ask us to delete it and we cannot restore it once it is gone.

On Android:

1. Open Settings → Apps.
2. Select the App.
3. Tap Storage → Clear storage.

On iPhone or iPad: touch and hold the App’s icon, tap Remove App, then Delete App. This also removes the App’s home screen widgets.

Uninstalling the App has the same effect. Either action is immediate and permanent, subject to any backup retained by your device or platform provider.

2. Request deletion of information we hold

Analytics and crash information is processed on our behalf by our providers rather than stored on your device. To have it deleted:

1. Email [email protected], or the App’s own support address listed in Appendix A — for Masala Menu that is [email protected]. Use the subject “Delete my data”. Either address reaches us; the App’s own address is usually faster.
2. Name the App (for example, Masala Menu or LinkFold).
3. Include your device model and operating-system version, and roughly when you installed the App.

We ask for the last two because our Apps have no accounts and no sign-in. There is no username to look you up by, so we identify the relevant records from the device and time period you give us. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request, and some anonymous or pseudonymous technical information may not reasonably be linkable to you — where that is the case, we will tell you.

We respond within the period required by applicable law.

3. What is deleted, and what we keep

Purchase and transaction records

Purchase and transaction records cannot be deleted on request. We retain them as necessary to administer entitlements and to meet tax, accounting, fraud-prevention and legal requirements. These records cover the status and dates of a subscription. They do not contain the content you create in an App.

To cancel on Android, open Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. On iPhone or iPad, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Select the App and cancel. Cancelling stops renewal; paid features run to the end of the period already paid for.

Support correspondence

If you email us, we keep that correspondence while it is needed to resolve your request and to maintain business and legal records. Ask us in your message if you would like it removed once the request is closed.
